I am a professor in the Psychology Department at Plattsburgh State University in Plattsburgh, NY. I obtained my B.A. in Psychology from Hope College, with a minor in Math. I earned my Ph.D. in Cognitive and Biological Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience, working in the Vision Research Labs at the University of Minnesota. I have been teaching at SUNY Plattsburgh since the fall of 1999.
My interests are in the areas of perception and cognition. I teach courses in experimental design, cognition, memory, and perception. My research investigates visual perception, memory, and cognition. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband Steve and our family.
